Naam - The Boat to cross this ocean of samsara

A thought arised in mind ? Why in kaliyug naam is given more importance.

Searched various resources to find about the importance of Naam. Came to know that in kaliyug, performing rituals, following the daily routines and special routines (nitya and namittika karmas) are becoming difficult for man. Then how can  a man cross this ocean of samasara in this kaliyug, where he is running with time to fulfill all his desires.

In this kaliyug, doing yoga, performing yagna and yaga, is becoming very difficult. Already man has become a slave for his desires. And there are the enemies inside him like kama (desire), krodha (anger), lobha, madha, matsarya which he is unable to win over. Constantly he is getting defeated with these enemies. Then where is the solution for man to cross the ocean of samsara with all the luggage he is carrying along with him unnecessarily. What is the solution for this problem which seems to very big and is a problem for every man.

So looking at scriptures, came to know that to easily cross the ocean of samsara in kaliyug, have to do the naam jap of the lord. In satcharitra also baba encouraged radhakrishna ayi to conduct naam saptah and encouraged everyone to participate in them. After baba maha samadhi, Sri sivanesan swamiji,who devoted his entire life in the seva of  Baba  gave the "om sai sri sai jaya jaya sai" naam to the devotees, also encouraged to conduct naam saptah at every sai temple. He used to encourage devotees to frequently conduct naam saptaha and asked everyone to participate in it.

So the easiest path in kaliyug to cross the ocean of samsara, to win over the internal enemies is to do naam jap. So there had been a few thoughts that why not creatively do naam jap and get more benefitted.
We have so many samskaras ( tendencies or vasanas) accumulated in us over many births. Because of these vasanas only we are bound to our actions which we perform, and it is very difficult to remove these vasanas by ourselves until and unless there is grace of guru or god on us. In this scenario, if we can think the naam as a river flowing which cleanse our vasanas, or like a fire which can burn out our vasanas, or like a vayu which can blow out our vasanas,or like a sun in aakash which can dry out our vasanas, or like the mother earth which will bear our mistakes and bless us with food. The naam can be visualised accordingly and feel internally that our tendencies are being cleansed by the grace of sainath, then slowly our mind will be trained in such a way where we leave ample of room for our sadguru sainath to sit and guide us from our inner heart. 

 Visualising naam as agni which can burn out the inner samaskaras which have been accumulated from so many previous births.

Presently we have filled our heart with so many desires, and already our internal enemies are sitting there , and the vasanas accumulated alongwith us in so many births. Then where is the room we have left out for sainath. We need to clean our heart from all these dirt, then lord sainath will sit there, and become the charioteer for our life vehicle, just like lord krishna was there for arjun. When we reach this state, then there is no looking back and our boat will easily cross this ocean of samasara.

What a simple technique to easily cross this ocean of samasara. And it is very easy to do naam jap, one can chant the name of lord internally, also while he(she) is taking bath, eating food, while he(she) is travelling, while he(she) is sitting idle, or cooking food, or any other activity. There are no rules for doing naam jap. A person can do naam jap at any time with or without bath, whether he is healthy or unhealthy, no resrictions, no limits, no count nothing. simply start doing the naam jap. Slowly the mind gets habituated to the naam, there by the internal enemies will subside by themselves, because they are being ignored and there is no space or room left for them. The room in the heart is slowly being filled the naam. That is the power of naam, from where the radiance of the lord is reflected in the person doing the naam. 

Let everyone understand this by the blessing and grace of sainath. Let everyone participate more in the naam jap. Let everyone get benefitted and easily cross the ocean of samsara by the blessings of  sainath.
