The Importance and power of Naam Jap

The Importance and power of Naam Jap and how Baba blessed us.

A practical and personal example, where Baba blessed us. My wife was experimenting for first time to prepare a sweet, which she had watched on a television channel. She asked my help in mixing the  flour, so that she can do the remaining part of preparing the sweet. I thought that why not do the naam jap while mixing the flour and started chanting om sai sri sai jaya jaya sai while mixing the flour. And after thoroughly mixing the flour, gave it to my wife. To our surprise even though it was her first time in preparing the sweet, it turned out to be very perfect. Whoever ate that said that really it came very nice. I Personally feel, it was none other than  baba's grace.

Any work when we do it with chanting Baba's name, the results will be simply excellent, nothing less than that.

That is the power of naam jap. Always baba used to encourage the naam jap of the lord. If we see in satcharitra we could find instances where the naam jap was conducted for seven days namely naam saptah. Baba encouraged all the devotees to participate in the naam saptah, clearly giving it more importance. After Baba's maha samadhi, we could find the same with Sri Sivanesan Swamiji who gave this naam "Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai". Sri Swamiji used to encourage people to conduct naam jap at various sai mandirs and encouraged everyone to participate in this naam saptah.

The power of this naam jap is enormous. One can and should feel and experience it personally. To always achieve excellence in any work, if we can do that work chanting sai naam, simply the result will be outstanding and excellent.

Let us chant
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai.
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai
Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai.
