Mr.Narayana and Mr.Raju, brothers from Mallapur, went on a pilgrimage to Shirdi in 1990 and were very much influenced by Baba's leelas. They were strongly determined to build Sri Saibaba's Mandir in their village. During their stay at Shirdi Mr. Narayana was fortunate to meet Sri Sivanesan Swamiji at Shirdi and asked his advice for building the temple. Sri Sivanesan Swamiji advised them to build a Mandir exactly like the one in Shirdi. With the blessings of Sri Saibaba this work was successfully accomplished and the result is a very beautiful Saibaba Mandir.
Specialities of the Temple.

Avadhuta Sri Ramireddy Tatha inaugurated this Mandir on 11th Apr 1992 at 8:29am by installing a beautiful marble Idol of Sri Saibaba.
Avadhuta Anusuya Matha lit the fire for the Dhuni on 8th Feb 1993.
The uniqueness of this Mandir is that Chavadi and Dwarakamai look similar to those places in Shirdi.
This temple is built up in an area of 11 acres.
As per the instructions of Sri Sivanesan Swamiji, Sri. Narayana Rao brought the soil from the holy Ganagapur and used it along with the bricks and cement in the construction of the temple. Sri Narayana Rao is right now looking after the activities of the temple and has dedicated himself at the service of the Baba. A person interacting with Sri.Narayana rao will find him to be a cool person whom baba has blessed.
We can also find the Gurusthan to be the same as it was in shirdi during 90's. Also we can find the Maruthi, Siva, Shani temples like in the shirdi. Recently devotees have constructed a bigger temple for hanuman by renovating the old small temple.
Showing their gratitude towards Sri Sivenasan Swamiji, there is a Guru Nivas also constructed where people can pay their respect to him. We can also sit there for meditation to feel the positive vibrations.
From the outlook it never appears to be a temple and we dont find any hungama or showoff which is existing in todays sai temples, but definetly we get the peaceful feeling and can feel the shirdi like atmosphere in the early days during the Baba Period. But for a person, who is in the spiritual path, definetly the land itself is more powerful than the external appearance. Some one can visit the temple for the inner peace and to have the blessings of Baba.
For people who are in lookout of peace and harmony,definetly a place to visit and feel the presence of Baba.
Another important thing is the dhuni puja and offering of coconut to the dhuni. Sri Narayana rao emphasised the words of Sri.Sivanesan Swamiji saying that Baba has given due importance to offering the coconut to dhuni and when someone has asked baba about it, baba replied "By offering the coconut to dhuni, we are burning our karmas". In this way any bad karma which is blocking our growth or well being is removed by the blessing of Baba. Anybody visiting this temple should definetly offer the coconut and do the dhuni puja.

- 11th and 12th of each month from 12:30pm to 12:30pm Ekham is held.
- Sapthaham is conducted during Ugadi, Sriramanavami.
- Satya Narayana Vratam is held every Poornima.

ReplyDeleteI have visited Baba temple, Mallapur on 22nd September 2021 along with my younger sister and brother-in-law and it was a rainy day. Amazingly on seeing this temple I felt that Ian at Shirdi. The structure's design is similar to that of the Baba temple. Everyone shall have the feeling spiritual recollection as was felt at Shirdi. This is a herculean task take-up by Narayana Rao Garu with the blessings of Baba. Nearly 70% of the structures are completed. A good job and great work offered to Baba devotees. The developmental programmes being carried out is marvellous.
